If you’re considering replacing the motor on your Xlerator hand dryer, it’s important to follow proper installation guidelines. Before beginning, make sure the hand dryer is disconnected from the power supply and the cover is secured with a tamper-proof wrench. To remove the air inlet cover, first disconnect the accessibly located optic sensor wire by pressing the plastic connector tab and draping it over the top of the hand dryer. Then, loosen the screws and carefully pull off the cover to reveal the control board. Be sure to note where the black and white wires are positioned before removing the old motor.
